A deep-chested laugh that jowly men with rudy faces give when they smack you on the back way to hard during the country club initiation in an effort to show you that your welcome/they are in charge.
Tom Swanson (ne Svenson) let loose a guffaw when Adiel began drunkenly singing the opening score from "Les Mes" due to its sheer novelty; the laugh itself was deep and rich and also a tad homoerotic, but in a genial and manly way.

(noun)Sudden boisterous laughter, usually in bursts.

Often seen in movies after the protagonist earnestly says something revealing, leaving the opposing character in a state of ambivalence. Fortunately, the antagonist usually disregards it as a mockery and laughs with his comrades in this obnoxious manner.

(intransitive verb) guffawed, guffawing, etcetera.
With the hostages counting on him, his pride swelled. He braved his chance and spoke up, "I am Masked Man!

Silence filled the room. Bad Guy could feel the burning anticipation of his comrades. He met and held his stare.

Bad Guy guffawed. "You!? Masked Man!" Glancing to his comrades, he scoffed, "Just look at his stance! And... just where is your weapon? You fool!"

*Laughter ensued in the warehouse*
