The name for a bizarre body type common to women in Rome, New York. Unlike a normal women, who, as a result of female hormones, will gain weight mostly in her hips and thighs, then all over, a Rome woman will often gain weight in her upper body, especially on her back. The result is an odd, top-heavy looking person with fat arms, a fat stomach, wide rounded shoulders and a hump on the back, yet slim hips, skinny legs, and no buttocks. Think of the main character in the Dilbert comic strip, only if he was a linebacker and a woman.
1.) Let's go to Wal-Mart in Rome and count the Rome Humps!

2.) Humpologists agree the Rome Hump may actually have originated in Taberg, New York.

3.) I was in Utica, but I saw an epic Rome Hump on this one girl!
