A word meaning boy or young male figure. When used creatively, "dude" can also refer to a girl. This word is used at the beginning and/or end of sentences.

It slowly is losing it's meaning Just like the word "Like" it is just randomly thrown in to sentances by America's youth.

Normally just referred to as a person. Normally a friend. Alot of surfers talk this way.
